From the academic year 2024-25 onwards, the Department of Mediterranean Studies: Archaeology, Linguistics, International Relations of the University of the Aegean awards Scholarships to newly admitted students, based on the order of their admission (grade) to the Department after the Panhellenic Examinations for General Highschool Graduates, as follows:
- to the first newly admitted student, € 1,500
- to the second newly admitted student, € 1,000
- to the third newly admitted student, € 500
The scholarship will be awarded after the end of the 1st year of study, provided the student has successfully completed all the compulsory courses — including the foreign language — of the indicative program of studies of the 1st year.
In case they have the same grades, the beneficiaries will share the amount of the scholarship. The scholarship is awarded only if the beneficiary is not receiving any other scholarships.
The above award is granted under the condition that there are available resources and may be differentiated following such decision of the Assembly of the Department.
