Event in collaboration with the University of Nicosia<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the lecture given at the University of the Aegean in Rhodes, by the former rector of the University of Nicosia, Mr. Michalis Attalidis.<\/p>\n

The event took place in February 2019 as part of the third lecture of the Second Round of Rhodes seminars co-organized by the Research Unit for European and International Policy of the Department of Mediterranean Studies and the South Aegean Region.
\nThe former rector of the University of Nicosia, Michalis Attalidis, gave a speech on the topic: \u201cGeopolitical rearrangements in the Mediterranean and Cyprus\u201d.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the University, the event was greeted by the President of the Department of Mediterranean Studies, Professor Katerina Frantzis and the coordinator of the Unit \u0391ssociate Professor Sotiris Dalis. On behalf of the South Aegean Region, the event was greeted by Ms. Haroula Giasirani.<\/p>\n

2013<\/strong>
\nIn 2013, he created at the Department of Mediterranean Studies of the University of the Aegean, the Research Unit for European and International Policy, within which he publishes the semi-annual journal, \u201cGreece, Europe and the World\u201d, where selected works of postgraduate students and researchers are published.<\/p>\n

He is the director of the quarterly academic review International and European Politics. He also directs the series \u201cInternational and European Politics\u201d (published by Papazisis) where more than a hundred articles have been published on international politics and European integration.
