Μαρτυρία Λάζαρου Κυριλίδη Studying in the Department of Mediterranean Studies and especially in the direction of Linguistics of Southeastern Mediterranean is absolutely a unique opportunity. The coordination of curricular combined with the willing of professors to impart their knowledge to us, their students, and help us understand every aspect of the subject is truly remarkable. Even in issues beside university, the interest of theirs exceeded every expectation, wherefore they were treating us, firstly as people, and secondly as their students. With their support, guidance and teaching, personally, I managed to become accepted in one of the best postgraduate courses in Forensic Linguistics. I believe, experienced actually, that the Department of Mediterranean studies offers the opportunity to explore and other scientific subjects, through the other two directions of International relations and Archaeology , and why not combine them. These are the most important advantages of the Department of Mediterranean studies which make the four years of studying at Rhodes unforgettable and creative.
